How to Plant Peppers

From Land Preparation to Abundant Harvest

Choose Suitable Land and Prepare the Soil Properly

Make sure the land has a loose and fertile soil structure. The soil must have a good drainage system to prevent water stagnation which can damage plant roots. Clean the planting area from plant debris, weeds and materials that could interfere with growth.

Choose superior seeds for quality harvest results

Soaking Seeds: Soak the seeds in lukewarm water to break dormancy, helping speed up the germination process. Discard any seeds that float because they may not be suitable for planting.

Planting red onions

Making Planting Holes: In the prepared bed, make planting holes with a distance between the holes of about 50 cm. This distance is important to provide sufficient space for plant root growth so that it can develop properly.

Routine care for maximum growth

Regular Watering: Pepper plants require regular watering to maintain optimal soil moisture. Adequate watering will ensure that plants get the water they need for photosynthesis and growth. Watering is done taking into account weather conditions, avoiding water stagnation which can cause root rot.

Correct Harvesting Method for Quality Results

Selecting Harvesting Time: The first harvest is carried out after the plants are about three months old, when the fruit has reached the desired size and quality. It is important to check the characteristics of ripe fruit, such as large size, ideal shape and loud sound when tapped.
